All in the name of science. Long term viewers with good memories will remember I’ve been talking about making an exploding baby video for a LONG time. As in four years. Well, here it is. The idea really was born out of all those diet coke and mentos videos that started about 4 years ago. This idea has essentially been in my head, pretty much unchanged all that time. Originally I had the idea of using a bleach bomb to blow up the doll but those can be dangerous and the fact they involve chemicals (albeit chemicals you can buy in any supermarket) that can involve pointed questions from the police. Since I discovered how easy it is to make a bottle explode with dry ice, I decided to use that method. Far cleaner and less dangerous. Mind you, I did have a few nervous moments because it was clear it was going to explode quickly and I thought it might go off in my hand. And as everyone always want to know what my neighbours think, this one did attract the attention of my neighbour Ollie but he knows what I do on YouTube and agreed dry ice wasn’t particularly dangerous. Although I might wait a while before doing it again.
