www.scoobysworkshop.com Men and women alike have trouble removing fat in the love handle and belly region, the reason is, this is the first place fat is stored when you start gaining weight and its the last place the fat comes off when you lose weight. The leaner you get, the harder it is to lose fat because the body wants to keep those last energy reservers for survival purposes. If you try brute force dieting to get rid of that last bit of fat which is stored in the love handles and over the lower abs, you will end up burning off muscle as well as fat – not what we want! What I’m gonna show you in this video is how to get ripped without burning off muscle by using carb cycling. And when your bodyfat is low enough, the last fat stores are removed and for most people, that is the love handles and over the lower abs. This is not spot fat removal, there is no such thing! Carb cycling is an amazing fat loss technique, its not a fad diet, its fine tuning of the zig zag diet developed by Dr Fred Hatfield several decades ago but its not for everyone. If you have more than 20lbs to lose, just good old fashioned nutrition and exercise is all thats required to lose weight. Where carb cycling shines is for those who are already fairly lean, those with 2-pack or 4-pack abs who just cant seem to get any leaner. Carb cycling is perfect for this, it helps you go from lean to ripped without loss of muscle. I’m more ripped now because I have been following my own carb cycling plan! I

@Socialtif also, people who weigh twice my starting weight have lost weight on their own without WLS and kept most of it off.

sorry, but WLS is not a system. it’s a quick fix for an old problem. not all of them regain wgt, but many do becuse they never dealt with their emotional eating and love of junk food.

i am glad i believed in myself, nt my doctor.

@Socialtif ahhhhh, so i see you went on a witch hunt sniffing out my videos? lol. whatever suits you hun.

you seem to have missed my larger point. there are those like me who realized that the mind and your decisions are in control. I could have had WLS, but i realized the power i have and its obvious i’ve proven it. When i see people who weighed 220 going for WLS i’m sorry, it troubles me. that’s just pure laziness or hopeless, neither of which should be covered by insurance.

  3. Socialtif says:

WLS is obviously a way that some people have used that is their “system”. we are all on this same journey together to loose weight, still not sure why you are so quick to judge and down someone else’s decision to have WLS to help them. Insurance companies would not cover it for people that weigh 200 or sometimes less, if it wasn’t needed. it’s not just medically necessary for those over 400 pds.

@n2xrcise I made a hair video yesterday. Thanks for asking lol. Yeah, I did totally forget about making hair vids. Not really, but I didn’t feel like i had anything to say especially since I’m wearing braids. But I did a length check yesterday. 6.5 inches and 5.5 in some places, but mostly 6, which is about normal for a year.

Thanks for the compliments on my weight! My ultimate goal is 145 and I’m 193-194. It’s coming off really slow now. I need to speed things up.

  22. kittybookitty says:

@ettisen You can do it if I can. Truth.

  23. kittybookitty says:

@mrsglory1 Sure. I mainly just try to increase my distance little by little. Each time I go out, I just try to run a little bit further then keep it at the new distance for a few runs so you body can get accustomed. I think the main thing is to NOT STOP. If you run/walk for 2 weeks then stop for two weeks, when you get back out there, it’s like square one again. Your body gets out of shape pretty quickly once you’re sedentary.

Thank you soo much for these tips, I”ve been on my journey since March 2010 and have lost 27 lbs. I too wish it could have been more but like you say it wont happen over nite and it’s not a race, I tend to forget that but hearing you makes me feel so much better about not reaching my goals for a certain date. Thanks you soooo much good luck and keep loosing those lbs!!
