@PairoftheSocks – There are two kinds of kettlebell swings including the overhead. Both are legit.

  2. StabbyRaccoon says:

The best paleo diet is high in fat, and lower in carbs and protein (I like 60 20 20) but not polyunsaturated fat and the polyunsaturated fat you do get needs to be balanced between omega 3 and 6. I look through the literature and there are like a billion rat studies all like “omgwtf fat killed the fucking rats”. But then there are the studies that show that if you add in some fish oil there is no ill affect. It is blatantly obvious and yet nobody acknowledges their fallacy. Sigh.

I believe this is a great lifestyle to live. I’m doing this now and pretty much lose weight, but gain when I start adding in breads, processed foods, etc.

The diet is spot on. The style of interview is rubbish. Try it and be transformed!!

  5. gypsyangel27 says:

So easy a caveman could do it?

  6. jeredmorgan says:

Great to see. But, not so great to see retard nutritionists still missing the point about fat on national TV. Unbelievable. How dumb can you get? The best explanation remains the same old idea that a lack of fat impairs your brain.

  7. PairoftheSocks says:

Atkins and Paleo FTW. Atkins took a more aggressive approach to cure people with insulin resistance. Paleo is more mild overall.

  8. Wheatix says:

Cool vid, except Robb Wolf bastardizing the kettlebell swings by doing them overhead at 4:10 :(

  9. FitnessExplorer says:

In the main, some great stuff here. I love Art pulling the Range Rover!

  10. PrimalToad1 says:

  16. ttraynor1 says:

Classicly educated “nutritionists” got screwed. Of course they are going to be resistant. This……IS the deal.

  17. Mercury1378 says:

@anti0918 – your comment about the nutritionists is pretty much what I said when I stated “her rationale for saying it is suspect.”
In regards to fish oil supplementation, this may help the O3:O6 ratio, but there are a host of other issues involved in grain-fed cattle.
Do a search for “Power Steer,” an article written in 2002 by Michael Pollan.
Besides, I’m not a fan of taking a supplement to offset something I can avoid in the first place.

  18. anti0918 says:

@Mercury1378 The chance that these nutritionists know a thing about omega-6 is very remote. They are referring to fat due to the *saturated fat* content, because of the lipid hypothesis. Also, if you’re eating grain-fed meat, you simply need to supplement omega-3 to correct the ratio.

  19. anti0918 says:

Of everyone in this interview, the nutritionists are the ones who look the least fit and healthy. They’re also the only ones clinging to the debunked lipid hypothesis.

  20. Mercury1378 says:

The recommendation of lower fat intake was probably more correct than not, although her rationale for saying it is suspect. Unless you’re eating grass-fed, pastured animals, you do indeed need to minimize animal fat consumption. The omega 6 levels in grain-fed beef are unhealthy, and are the very reason that we humans also need to avoid grains
In other words, it makes no sense to laud the avoidance of grains in your diet, only to consume animal products whose very subsistence relies on them

LOL @ If they watch the fat….ummm then how would we get energy on a lowcarb diet? You really think Mr caveman was like “no i dont want that piece of wild boar, it was too much fat on it…”

  24. drcottingame says:

Agreed!!! Nutritionists are so wrapped up in the matrix of their own propaganda that even when insurmountable evidence hits them in the face they can’t seem to acknowledge it!

  25. alphacause says:

Thanks for posting this Jimmy. I watched it last night, and I left a message on your menu blog about it coming on yesterday. I was surprised by how agreeable a mainstream media outlet like ABC was to Paleo. I thought they were going to be super critical of it. But instead they interviewed nutritionists who agreed with the lifestyle, for the most part. Again, this is more evidence that the zeitgeist is changing.
