Have you noticed that all those Raw Food guys live in warm areas, like California? Have you ever seen a Raw Food eater from the north of Norway? I guess if you live in a colder zone and do hard physical outdoors labour in the cold you simply need a layer of fat to stay intact in the cold and vega food will seriously undermine your ability to cope in those hard conditions. But in sunny California Raw Food would be fitting.

YOU ROCK – Love the point on fitness freaks getting into the stretch groove on and raw life people get out from yoga and meditation and into the gym. 52 years young. Perfect.

@RawFoodRainbow I know that whites out number blacks in America. Numbers are not the issue and that does not justify racism. Whites are the minority in South Africa, but the word minority is never ever ever applied to them. The issue is racism not numbers. I do not agree with your comment or your twisted logic.

  6. RawFoodRainbow says:

@greatbydesign33 To be honest , in America there’s more white people than black people so your obviously gonna see more white on Tv, on youtube and everywhere mainstream . however, if you were in Africa or the Caribbean then you wouldn’t be saying this . So yeah i do want black people to come up and contribute more and i Love to see videos Like this also . But just gotta think about whut you are wanting . lol it makes no sense . We can conttribute more if we will it tho !!! :D

Using extreme moderation in diet and exercise is the best. Using eggs/oats which are heavy and acidic balanced with raw ie spinach, raw nuts and fruits is the real key. We don’t have to workout and eat as much as we think. Spending more time relaxing, working stress free and meditating is the key to peace and happiness. I used to workout 2-3 hours day. Now only 30 minutes in the morning and evening. Less is more in diet, exercise, work etc. Focus on intensity and balance over quantity!

All genes require an environment to be turned on or off, to be off too long, to be on too long, to turn on or off at inappropriate times, etc. The environment may be a protein or hormone cascade, a toxin, light, vitamins and minerals, etc or the lack thereof. Since genes require an environment to function, environment trumps genetics and thus it is important to treat your body well and eat well. Yes there is genetic variation and some people fair better under certain conditions than others.

Thanks for showing that Black people are into this also. Not being racial, it’s just so RARE RARE RARE to see the healthy lifestyles of African-Americans spot lighted. It’s as if we don’t exist or something.

  25. kuldi1000 says:

If a person eats 50 % of his food raw, can he be grouped among the raw foodist?

Can he or she join your happy gang? Raw foodist can, of course, include meat eaters. Or does one need to grapple with spiritual vibrations (Vedas et al.) speak a certain way, and reject sci-views that say we our ‘the cooking apes, creatures of the flame”?

    Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for this video. You’re adorable. I have a greenstar too. I do leafy greens as well. But I get a ton of foam. Why don’t you get any foam?

  28. JenniferCornbleet says:

    Hi Paula,
I love the Vitamix, and use it almost daily to make green smoothies. But it isn’t a juicer–the smoothies still have the pulp. I also like to make green vegetable juice daily–you can get a high concentration of alkalizing greens, even more than you could get into a smoothie. Yes, there is no fiber in it, but I’m getting so much fiber in other foods, it doesn’t matter. So I like and use both machines.

    Jenny

  29. paula3280 says:

again a great video. what is your thoughts on the “vitamix” vs this machine?

  30. TheLoserKingdom says:

@templebarboy Although I am no expert. Tests have shown that slow, cold pressed juicers create juice that can store for up to 48 hours. (Compared to centrifugal juicers) However juice is best consumed within 15 minutes to prevent oxidation, or so I heard. Yet, as there is no fiber in the juice, you want to slowly sip and mix you saliva with the juice to start the first stage of digestion, in the mouth. Good luck!

  31. eiyela says:

kevin gianni’s channel has a recipe for turning the leftover pulp into raw crackers. might be a tip for those of us who feel like we’re wasting veggies.

  32. ljs82805 says:

I’d love to get a juicer. My husband and I are doing a 60 day raw diet challenge. I’d love to do it permanently. I love your videos! It’s truly refreshing to see that you can make such wonderful dishes that are completely raw and I don’t think we’ll feel deprived at all if we incorporate that beautiful chocolate mousse tart!

  33. templebarboy says:

Hi Jennifer, can you keep the rest of juice for a few hours lunch or does it lose nutritional value?

  34. EffortlessVitality says:

Jennifer, you make *the* cutest raw food videos. Love the production quality, your kitchen, and especially you :)
Thanks also for the tips in the middle. I try not to waste any food in my kitchen, but hadn’t thought of saving up stems & stalks for green juice. Bonus!

  35. scalothis says:

I have a ‘normal’ juicer and I ten to mold the pulp into balls and put it through 3 or 4 times. Even then I feel I am wasting so much goodness.

  36. meganmozart says:

I have this same juicer and it is fantastic. I’m glad you’re really pushing this one instead of other juicers. They just aren’t quite as good.

  37. QbanLo405 says:

Great raw recipee! I just started juicing today and I can already feel the difference in my energy level. I used Collards, Cilantro, Celery, Tomato, and beet this morning.
